Sampler Block 11

FINALLY I am able to play in my studio. We have been so busy getting ready for our trip. I am so ready for some SUN.

I was able to complete my block 11 for Sampler group.

6" - Double Quartet

When I return home next month, I am going to have to study these blocks and come up with a layout.

I will continue on the rest of the night in studio. I am sure going to miss my haven! I wish I could just pack everything in two suitcases. 8)

Have a wonderful weekend & I hope you will find sometime to stitch! 8)

"Grace" Jane (Dear Jane) Blocks

I finally finished more blocks. I am going to have to re-do this Triangle. I cut the top half too short AND my half moon are crooked. *Ugh*

LS(left side)-9 "Kiwi"

Block B-13 "Four Corner Press"

I have to start packing now for our trip. This year we are spending the Holidays with my family. We are going to be gone for 6-weeks. Three weeks on Oahu with siblings and their families AND three weeks on the Big Island on the wet side "Hilo" with my Dad.

I am so looking forward to seeing the family. 8)

Todays Agenda

Not much going on here today. I mailed my ballot in last week so I don't have to go out and vote.

I am working on my "Grace Jane" blocks. I am working on the top left corner block. Hand appliqueing hexies right now. Then I have to work on D-11 (Snow Crystal) and LS(left side) 10 (Megan's Cathedral).

I need to get as much done as I can before I leave for our holiday vacation. This year we are spending Thanksgiving and Christmas with my family in Hawaii. We don't return until the end of December.

Have a wonderful day!

Hi Liz!  Guess what?  You won Chloe, the autograph dog!  I took her to market and had her signed by lots of designers.  She’s coming to you as soon as you email me your address.

Somewhere on the dog is Kaffe Fassett’s autograph (just his first name)…he told me he never puts his signature on fabric, so we are lucky to have it.  One of the sweetest designers is Amy Butler.  Hope you love Chloe!

Congratulations and thank you for reading my blog!

After visiting a few sites, I must say that http://www.pamkittymorning.blogspot.com/ is my favorite site. Take a look at her block...absolutely beautiful. I love a block when there are so many pieces to a block. Maybe that is why I am so batty! 8)

Productive Sunday with Grace Jane

I made a couple more Dear Jane blocks. I consider this to be a productive day! 8)

B2 - Bachelor Buttons

TR-12 Jane's Oak

I am still in my studio working on a couple more blocks. I hope to get these done tonight.  I really need to update my virtual wall design so I can see how my "Grace Jane" is going to look. But that will have to be another day so I can just focus on getting more blocks done the rest of the day.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday!

UFO #9
Gorgeous Anita!

Busy days...

I haven't been sewing these past few days. I am going to have to re-evaluate my schedule so that I can get some sewing time in a day. BUT tonight I got a couple of hours in completing my Sampler Block #9. I like how this block turned out.
